Our dad entered the onion business with his brothers.
He learned the work from the ground up.
Growing Up
We were raised in the business.
Helping. Learning. Showing up.
That business still runs today.
The Early Years
One truck became a fleet.
We focused on moving produce right and supporting operations as we grew.
April 6, 2016
A. Medrano Produce began operations.
6,000 sq. ft.
Leased space.
All in.
November 2020
We moved again—this time into 30,000 sq. ft.
Where we operate today.
Today
Three generations. Still family-owned.
Still hands-on.
Still doing the work the right way.
1979
He went out on his own.
Some years grew fast.
Some years took everything but his home.
He kept going.
2006
Our dad encouraged us to build something together.
Equal partners.
He donated a semitruck.
We bought a second.
2016
Two of us lost our jobs during an acquisition.
Nearly 20 years in produce—gone overnight. We chose to move forward and build something that was ours.
2018
We outgrew it.
Moved into a 10,000 sq. ft. facility.
2020
We dropped the “A.”
Medrano Produce better reflected who we are.
